The Marauder has failed in all points in every test conducted by Motorcycle Cruiser magazine. It had a tendency when it debuted to lose its toolbox cover (followed by the toolkit), at interstate speeds. And it does not have the powerband to back up its 1970s dragbike look.
If I had to decide between the three you've listed, I'd buy the Star for longer trips, and keep my little suzi for puttering around town, although a recontoured seat and some better bar/peg geometry would turn the Savage into a real nice little mile eater.
